I came to Johnson & Hayes post Bilateral mastectomy & reconstruction.
I had very limited motion of my left shoulder & arm that was accompanied by lymphedema.
I’ve had the great opportunity to work with 2 of the best Physical Therapist in your facilities!!
I have been treated in the Madison facility, by the very knowledgeable & caring specialist PT, Kathleen Bice. She allowed me to share my story of breast cancer & the aftermath , while giving me constant encouragement. Her knowledge of lymphedema & massage therapy has greatly improved my post mastectomy lifestyle. She also taught me to compression wrap on my own, which greatly helps keep the lymphedema to a minimum.
Part 2 of my therapy, but no less important…I’ve also been very blessed in your Huntsville facility, to have PT Mary Emily Sockwell, on my journey to recover range of motion & strength.
Her knowledge, encouragement, & warm personality have made my physical therapy seem less of a struggle, & more successful.
Both Mary Emily & Kathleen deserve more than 5 stars for all their effort in making my therapy a pleasant journey!!
