Todd Hayes, a Huntsville native, co-founded Johnson & Hayes Physical Therapists® in January 2003. Todd has an extensive background in sports. He played baseball and basketball at Grissom High School, where he graduated in 1987. Todd was no stranger to sports related injury; he broke his tibia and fibula in his right leg during a baseball collision. The importance of quality rehabilitation became evident at an extremely young age. After graduation from Grissom, Todd played baseball for two years at Gadsden State Community College, and then went on to play at Lipscomb University.

He received a Dual Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering and Math upon graduation from Auburn University, and later a Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Upon completing his Physical Therapy degree, Todd worked at HealthSouth for three years. He married his high school sweetheart, Monica Lancaster Hayes, and they have three children: Katie, Carter, and Lauren.

In his spare time, Todd loves to coach youth sports, play golf, snow ski, travel and spend time with his family. He enjoys serving on his church mission board and as board member for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Todd receives extraordinary joy from being a physical therapist because he is able to return people back to the things they love to do.

Corine Berry

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Growing up in the small town of Section, Alabama, Corine learned early the value of community, accountability, and resourcefulness. Much of her childhood was spent with her Granddaddy-whether playing sports, fishing on Lake Guntersville, or tending the garden. These experiences inspired her to pursue a career helping others stay active and continue doing what they love.

With a strong belief in the importance of movement and maintaining independence, especially for aging populations, Corine pursued her education at Northeast Alabama Community College before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham. At UAB, she first completed a Bachelor's degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry, then went on to earn her Doctor of Physical Therapy.

During her third-year clinical rotation, Corine joined Johnson & Hayes in Huntsville and instantly felt at home. It was here that she found the perfect blend of patient-centered care, teamwork, and community connection. Now a proud member and leader within the Johnson & Hayes family, Corine is committed to helping patients overcome physical challenges and regain functional independence.

Outside of work, Corine and her husband, Zach, share a love for travel and new experiences. Together they enjoy spending time in the kitchen - though Corine does most of the cooking while Zach supervises from a safe distance. Corine enjoys staying active through exercise and running, finding both to be great ways to boost energy and clear her mind.
